| Lister Railtrucks were supplied to a few brickworks in South Wales, two of them to the Bridgend area. Lister Railtruck No 9969 built in 1938 was supplied to Bryncethin Brickworks and a few years later Railtruck 29221 built in 1946 was supplied to Tondu Brickworks. This locomotive worked the 2ft narrow gauge tramway linking the clay pits to the works. The loco is presumed to have been scrapped sometime in the 1950s. |
