THE BUS STATION
Two
photographs of Market Street taken in the late 1950s or early 1960s showing
the offices of Bridgend Bus Station before the 1960s rebuild of the bus
bays. 
The photograph
on the left shows one of the N&C Luxury Coaches which operated an
express limited stop service from Cardiff to Swansea. The second picture
shows a general view of the bus station after extensive remodelling
in the mid 1960s. The next two photographs were taken minutes apart
and show buses leaving the bus station sometime in the late 1960s.
