The "Ogwr-Tiki" Raft Race - July 1975

The "Ogwr-Tiki" Raft Race was run for a few years in the early 1970s. Commencing north of Bridgend the assorted home-built rafts were sailed, paddled, pushed or carried to the winning post at the river mouth at Ogmore-by Sea.

The photographs shown here were all taken in Newbridge Fields in July 1975. Where possible, the location has been identified.
